Internal steel screens in Cumbria
Looking for internal steel screens in Cumbria? We survey, draw, fabricate and fit them for homes in Carlisle, Kendal and across the rest of Cumbria.
Fitting internal steel screens in Cumbria
Cumbria's Lakeland stone houses face hard weather, so external steel is specified with galvanised frames and durable coatings.
Lead times are confirmed in writing when you sign off the drawings, so you can plan the rest of your project around them. Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the internal steel screen fits the opening you have, not a stock size.
We cover Carlisle, Kendal, Keswick and Penrith, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Lever handles, pull handles and locks in black, brass or stainless
- Polyester powder coat in textured jet black (RAL 9005) or any RAL colour
- Reeded, frosted or acoustic laminated glass to any pane
- Pane layouts drawn to suit ceiling height and room proportions
An internal steel screen is a glazed partition made from slim steel sections, usually with a grid of glass panes and an optional door. Read the full guide to internal steel screens.
Call, chat or send the form and we will arrange a convenient survey date.
Internal steel screens in Cumbria: questions
How much does an internal steel screen cost?
A typical 2.4m-wide screen with a single door is usually between £3,800 and £7,500 fitted, including VAT. Size, the number of doors, glass type and access are what move the price; we confirm a fixed figure after a free survey.
Is the screen genuine steel?
Yes. Our steel screens are fabricated from steel sections and powder coated. If budget is tight we also offer a steel-look aluminium screen, and we always say clearly which one you are being quoted for.
