Fire-rated steel screens in Hertfordshire
Fire-rated steel screens in Hertfordshire are made to measure from a free survey and fitted by our installation team, with surveys across St Albans, Watford, Harpenden and the surrounding area.
Fitting fire-rated steel screens in Hertfordshire
Hertfordshire's Edwardian and interwar houses commonly have a knocked-through living and dining room, which is ideal for internal steel French doors.
Safety glass is standard in every internal pane, and we check whether fire-rated glazing is needed before anything is ordered. Our team handles survey, drawings, fabrication and fitting, so you deal with one contact from start to finish.
We cover St Albans, Watford, Harpenden and Hitchin, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 6–10 weeks depending on system, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Complete tested systems: frame, glass, seals and fixings
- Residential protected stairs and commercial corridors
- Doorsets complete with closers and ironmongery
- Coordination with building control and fire engineers
A fire-rated steel screen is a glazed steel partition designed to resist the spread of fire and, depending on its rating, heat for a set period such as 30 or 60 minutes. Read the full guide to fire-rated steel screens.
Call, chat or send the form and we will arrange a convenient survey date.
