Fire-rated steel screens in Gloucestershire
Looking for fire-rated steel screens in Gloucestershire? We survey, draw, fabricate and fit them for homes in Cheltenham, Gloucester and across the rest of Gloucestershire.
Fitting fire-rated steel screens in Gloucestershire
Gloucestershire mixes Regency Cheltenham with Cotswold stone cottages, and slim steel works well against both render and stone.
Our team handles survey, drawings, fabrication and fitting, so you deal with one contact from start to finish. We coordinate with your builder, kitchen fitter or decorator so the opening is ready and nothing is measured twice.
We cover Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud and Cirencester, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 6–10 weeks depending on system, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Black or RAL powder coat within the tested finish range
- Manufacturer evidence of performance supplied with quote
- Residential protected stairs and commercial corridors
- Integrity (E) and insulation (EI) ratings to suit the route
A fire-rated steel screen is a glazed steel partition designed to resist the spread of fire and, depending on its rating, heat for a set period such as 30 or 60 minutes. Read the full guide to fire-rated steel screens.

Fire-rated steel screens in Gloucestershire: questions
What do E30 and EI30 mean?
E is integrity, meaning the screen stops flames and hot gases passing through. EI adds insulation, meaning the unexposed side stays below a temperature limit. The number is the period in minutes.
Can you put fire glass into my existing screen?
No. Fire performance comes from the tested system as a whole, so the frame, glass, seals and fixings must all match the tested assembly.
How soon can you survey in Gloucestershire?
Survey dates in Gloucestershire depend on our current schedule and your project stage. Tell us when your opening will be ready and we will book the survey to suit.
