Fitting steel windows in County Durham
County Durham projects include stone cottages and Victorian terraces, often with a rear extension that a steel screen connects to the house.
We coordinate with your builder, kitchen fitter or decorator so the opening is ready and nothing is measured twice. You get one fixed written price after survey, with the material, glass and finish named on the quote.
We cover Durham, Darlington, Barnard Castle and Chester-le-Street, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Secure multipoint or espagnolette locking options
- Glazing bars as true divided lights or applied bars
- Hot-dip galvanised, then polyester powder coated
- Thermally improved steel sections with double glazing
Steel windows are window frames made from hot-rolled steel sections, galvanised against corrosion and powder coated, then double glazed. Read the full guide to steel windows.
Send us a few details and photos of the opening, and we will arrange a free survey.
