Fitting steel window refurbishment in West Midlands
The West Midlands is home ground for our trading company in Great Barr, Birmingham, and we survey across the region's Victorian terraces, interwar semis and new builds.
Lead times are confirmed in writing when you sign off the drawings, so you can plan the rest of your project around them. Our team handles survey, drawings, fabrication and fitting, so you deal with one contact from start to finish.
We cover Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry and Wolverhampton, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 2–4 weeks to start after inspection, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Rust removal, treatment and section repairs
- Reglazing, including slim units where sections allow

Steel window refurbishment in West Midlands: questions
Can old steel windows be made draught-proof?
Draught seals and adjusted opening lights make a big difference. For more warmth, slim double-glazed units or secondary glazing can be added.
When is replacement better than repair?
When sections are badly corroded, bent or missing, repair can cost more than heritage replacement. We tell you honestly which makes sense.
