Steel-look aluminium screens in Somerset
Every steel-look aluminium screen we fit in Somerset starts with a free survey at the property, whether that is in Frome, Bath or a village nearby.
Fitting steel-look aluminium screens in Somerset
Somerset includes Bath's Georgian stone terraces, many of them listed, so we pay close attention to consent and sympathetic design.
Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the steel-look aluminium screen fits the opening you have, not a stock size. We coordinate with your builder, kitchen fitter or decorator so the opening is ready and nothing is measured twice.
We cover Bath, Taunton, Frome and Wells, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 3–4 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Material named clearly on every quote
- Lighter weight, simpler fixings
- Toughened safety glass, clear or reeded
- Shorter lead times on standard layouts
A steel-look aluminium screen is a glazed internal partition made from aluminium profiles designed to imitate the slim black grid of a steel screen. Read the full guide to steel-look aluminium screens.

Steel-look aluminium screens in Somerset: questions
Is steel-look aluminium suitable for a bathroom?
Yes. Aluminium does not rust, which is why some clients choose it for shower screens and wet rooms.
Is steel-look aluminium as good as real steel?
It gives a similar look for less money. Genuine steel has slimmer bars, a more solid feel and a longer-lasting finish, so it depends what matters most to you.
