Steel-look aluminium screens in Dorset
Every steel-look aluminium screen we fit in Dorset starts with a free survey at the property, whether that is in Dorchester, Bournemouth or a village nearby.
Fitting steel-look aluminium screens in Dorset
Dorset's coastal homes and Arts and Crafts houses around Bournemouth and Poole often pair external steel doors with sea-facing extensions.
Our team handles survey, drawings, fabrication and fitting, so you deal with one contact from start to finish. Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the steel-look aluminium screen fits the opening you have, not a stock size.
We cover Bournemouth, Poole, Dorchester and Weymouth, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 3–4 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Shorter lead times on standard layouts
- Fixed panes, hinged and sliding doors
- Aluminium profiles styled as slim steel glazing bars
- Lighter weight, simpler fixings
A steel-look aluminium screen is a glazed internal partition made from aluminium profiles designed to imitate the slim black grid of a steel screen. Read the full guide to steel-look aluminium screens.

Steel-look aluminium screens in Dorset: questions
Will you say which material I am buying?
Always. Every quote names the material, the system and the glass.
How much cheaper is aluminium than steel?
A steel-look aluminium screen often costs roughly 40 to 50 percent less than the same screen in genuine steel. We can quote both for your opening.
Are prices higher in Dorset?
Our guide prices are the same nationally. The fixed price for your job depends on its size and specification, plus any site factors such as access or parking, which we note at survey.
