Fitting staircase steel screens in Surrey
Surrey's 1930s detached houses and Arts and Crafts homes often have generous hallways and rear extensions that suit a glazed steel screen between kitchen and living space.
We coordinate with your builder, kitchen fitter or decorator so the opening is ready and nothing is measured twice. You get one fixed written price after survey, with the material, glass and finish named on the quote.
We cover Guildford, Woking, Epsom and Reigate, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 5–7 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Black or any RAL powder coat
- Safety glass sized for guarding where the screen protects a drop
- Coordination with building control where approval is needed
- Full-height or half-height screens with handrail details
A staircase steel screen is a glazed steel partition that replaces a solid wall or balustrade beside a staircase. Read the full guide to staircase steel screens.
Call, chat or send the form and we will arrange a convenient survey date.
Staircase steel screens in Surrey: questions
Can the screen follow the angle of the stairs?
Yes. We measure the pitch and draw raked frames so the glazing bars line up with the stair rather than stepping awkwardly.
Is glass beside stairs safe?
We use safety glass sized for the loads involved, and where the screen protects a drop it is designed as guarding to the required height.
Do you cover Guildford and Woking?
Yes. We survey and fit staircase steel screens in Guildford, Woking, Epsom and across Surrey. Book a free survey and we will confirm a date.
