Kitchen steel screens in Surrey
Homeowners and builders in Surrey use us for kitchen steel screens that are drawn to their exact opening, from compact screens in Guildford to full-width runs in Woking.
Fitting kitchen steel screens in Surrey
Surrey's 1930s detached houses and Arts and Crafts homes often have generous hallways and rear extensions that suit a glazed steel screen between kitchen and living space.
Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the kitchen steel screen fits the opening you have, not a stock size. We coordinate with your builder, kitchen fitter or decorator so the opening is ready and nothing is measured twice.
We cover Guildford, Woking, Epsom and Reigate, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Coordinated with kitchen fitter drawings and worktop heights
- Durable powder coat suited to kitchen heat and cleaning
- Toughened or laminated safety glass, clear or reeded
- Slim glazing bars that keep sightlines across the room
A kitchen steel screen is a glazed steel partition that separates a kitchen from a dining area or snug, either sitting on a low dwarf wall or running floor to ceiling. Read the full guide to kitchen steel screens.

Kitchen steel screens in Surrey: questions
Will a screen stop cooking smells spreading?
A screen with a closing door contains most smells and noise. An open-ended screen still helps, but good extraction over the hob does most of the work.
Is glass safe next to a hob?
We specify safety glass throughout and advise keeping a sensible clearance from the hob. Where a pane is close to cooking, laminated glass is the safer choice.
Do you cover Guildford and Woking?
