Fitting heritage steel window replacement in Herefordshire
Herefordshire's farmhouse and barn conversions often have large openings that suit full-height steel screens and external steel doors.
Safety glass is standard in every internal pane, and we check whether fire-rated glazing is needed before anything is ordered. Lead times are confirmed in writing when you sign off the drawings, so you can plan the rest of your project around them.
We cover Hereford, Leominster, Ledbury and Ross-on-Wye, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 5–7 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include

Heritage steel window replacement in Herefordshire: questions
Are you connected to Crittall?
No. Crittall is a registered trademark of Crittall Windows Ltd. We use the term Crittall-style to describe the slim steel look; Steel Screens UK is independent and not affiliated with Crittall Windows Ltd.
Should I repair or replace my steel windows?
If the frames are structurally sound, refurbishment can be cheaper and keeps original fabric. If sections are badly corroded or distorted, replacement is usually better value. We advise after inspecting them.
