Fitting fire-rated steel screens in Surrey
Surrey's 1930s detached houses and Arts and Crafts homes often have generous hallways and rear extensions that suit a glazed steel screen between kitchen and living space.
You get one fixed written price after survey, with the material, glass and finish named on the quote. Safety glass is standard in every internal pane, and we check whether fire-rated glazing is needed before anything is ordered.
We cover Guildford, Woking, Epsom and Reigate, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 6–10 weeks depending on system, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Coordination with building control and fire engineers
- Residential protected stairs and commercial corridors
- Complete tested systems: frame, glass, seals and fixings
- Integrity (E) and insulation (EI) ratings to suit the route
A fire-rated steel screen is a glazed steel partition designed to resist the spread of fire and, depending on its rating, heat for a set period such as 30 or 60 minutes. Read the full guide to fire-rated steel screens.
Call, chat or send the form and we will arrange a convenient survey date.
Fire-rated steel screens in Surrey: questions
