Steel windows in Dundee and Angus
From Broughty Ferry to Forfar, we supply and fit steel windows across Dundee and Angus, each one fabricated to the measurements taken at your survey.
Fitting steel windows in Dundee and Angus
Dundee's tenement flats and Broughty Ferry villas often have long hallways that benefit from glazed internal screens.
Our team handles survey, drawings, fabrication and fitting, so you deal with one contact from start to finish. Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the steel window fits the opening you have, not a stock size.
We cover Dundee, Broughty Ferry, Arbroath and Forfar, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Hot-dip galvanised, then polyester powder coated
- Thermally improved steel sections with double glazing
- Secure multipoint or espagnolette locking options
- Trickle vents where ventilation rules require them
Steel windows are window frames made from hot-rolled steel sections, galvanised against corrosion and powder coated, then double glazed. Read the full guide to steel windows.

Steel windows in Dundee and Angus: questions
Can steel windows be used in a new extension?
Yes. Steel windows and glazed walls are a popular choice for rear extensions, and they can be detailed to match steel doors in the same opening.
Do steel windows rust?
Steel windows are galvanised and then powder coated, which protects them well. Keeping drainage clear and touching up any chips keeps them in good condition for decades.
