Fitting steel window refurbishment in Swansea and Neath
Around Swansea and Mumbles we see coastal homes and Victorian terraces, where external steel doors open onto sea-facing gardens.
Safety glass is standard in every internal pane, and we check whether fire-rated glazing is needed before anything is ordered. Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the steel window refurbishment fits the opening you have, not a stock size.
We cover Swansea, Mumbles, Neath and Llanelli, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 2–4 weeks to start after inspection, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Primer and topcoat in the original or new colour
- New hinges, handles, stays and draught seals
- Reglazing, including slim units where sections allow
- Rust removal, treatment and section repairs
Steel window refurbishment is the repair of existing metal windows rather than replacing them: treating rust, repairing damaged sections, freeing seized opening lights, renewing hinges, handles and seals, reglazing and recoating. Read the full guide to steel window refurbishment.
