Fitting steel window refurbishment in Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire's stone-built Georgian towns such as Stamford sit alongside farmhouse conversions, both of which suit heritage steel detailing.
Safety glass is standard in every internal pane, and we check whether fire-rated glazing is needed before anything is ordered. You get one fixed written price after survey, with the material, glass and finish named on the quote.
We cover Lincoln, Grantham, Boston and Stamford, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 2–4 weeks to start after inspection, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Secondary glazing option for listed buildings
- Reglazing, including slim units where sections allow
- Primer and topcoat in the original or new colour
- Seized opening lights freed and rehung
Steel window refurbishment is the repair of existing metal windows rather than replacing them: treating rust, repairing damaged sections, freeing seized opening lights, renewing hinges, handles and seals, reglazing and recoating. Read the full guide to steel window refurbishment.
Send us a few details and photos of the opening, and we will arrange a free survey.
