Steel windows in Lincolnshire
Homeowners and builders in Lincolnshire use us for steel windows that are drawn to their exact opening, from compact screens in Lincoln to full-width runs in Grantham.
Fitting steel windows in Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire's stone-built Georgian towns such as Stamford sit alongside farmhouse conversions, both of which suit heritage steel detailing.
Safety glass is standard in every internal pane, and we check whether fire-rated glazing is needed before anything is ordered. Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the steel window fits the opening you have, not a stock size.
We cover Lincoln, Grantham, Boston and Stamford, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Thermally improved steel sections with double glazing
- Any RAL colour; black, bronze and grey are popular
- Trickle vents where ventilation rules require them
- Side-hung, top-hung, fixed and casement combinations
Steel windows are window frames made from hot-rolled steel sections, galvanised against corrosion and powder coated, then double glazed. Read the full guide to steel windows.

Steel windows in Lincolnshire: questions
Do steel windows rust?
Steel windows are galvanised and then powder coated, which protects them well. Keeping drainage clear and touching up any chips keeps them in good condition for decades.
How long do steel windows last?
Well-maintained galvanised and powder-coated steel windows have a long service life, and the frames can be recoated in future rather than replaced.
Are prices higher in Lincolnshire?
Our guide prices are the same nationally. The fixed price for your job depends on its size and specification, plus any site factors such as access or parking, which we note at survey.
