Homeowners and builders in Shropshire use us for steel shower screens that are drawn to their exact opening, from compact screens in Shrewsbury to full-width runs in Telford.
Fitting steel shower screens in Shropshire
Shropshire has many timber-framed and listed buildings in towns like Ludlow and Shrewsbury, so heritage-sensitive design is often part of the brief.
Lead times are confirmed in writing when you sign off the drawings, so you can plan the rest of your project around them. Safety glass is standard in every internal pane, and we check whether fire-rated glazing is needed before anything is ordered.
We cover Shrewsbury, Telford, Ludlow and Oswestry, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 3–5 weeks from final tiling measure, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Finish suited to wet areas, black or any RAL colour
- Silicone-sealed to tiles and tray or wet-room floor
- Made to the tiled opening after tiling is complete
- Ceiling or wall stabiliser bars where needed
A steel shower screen is a toughened glass panel set in a slim steel frame with glazing bars, used to enclose a walk-in shower or wet room. Read the full guide to steel shower screens.

Steel shower screens in Shropshire: questions
How much does a steel shower screen cost?
A single steel-framed walk-in panel usually costs £1,400 to £3,200 fitted, including VAT. Hinged doors, return panels and very tall screens add to the price.
Can you fit a shower door as well as a panel?
Yes. Hinged doors with a seal, or return panels, can be added where the layout needs an enclosure.
Are prices higher in Shropshire?
Our guide prices are the same nationally. The fixed price for your job depends on its size and specification, plus any site factors such as access or parking, which we note at survey.
