Looking for internal steel French doors in Shropshire? We survey, draw, fabricate and fit them for homes in Shrewsbury, Telford and across the rest of Shropshire.
Fitting internal steel French doors in Shropshire
Shropshire has many timber-framed and listed buildings in towns like Ludlow and Shrewsbury, so heritage-sensitive design is often part of the brief.
We coordinate with your builder, kitchen fitter or decorator so the opening is ready and nothing is measured twice. You get one fixed written price after survey, with the material, glass and finish named on the quote.
We cover Shrewsbury, Telford, Ludlow and Oswestry, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Toughened safety glass, reeded or acoustic options
- Any RAL colour in a textured or smooth powder coat
- No threshold: flooring runs through the opening
- Glazed top light option for tall or arched openings
Internal steel French doors are a pair of glazed steel doors that meet in the middle, hung in an opening between two rooms. Read the full guide to internal steel French doors.
Send us a few details and photos of the opening, and we will arrange a free survey.
Internal steel French doors in Shropshire: questions
Do internal steel doors need a threshold?
No. Inside the house we leave a small gap under the doors so the flooring runs straight through without a step.
Can the doors be locked?
Yes. We can fit a sashlock with a key or a privacy turn, and a flush bolt on the secondary leaf keeps the pair secure.
Are prices higher in Shropshire?
Our guide prices are the same nationally. The fixed price for your job depends on its size and specification, plus any site factors such as access or parking, which we note at survey.
