Fitting steel room dividers in Tyne and Wear
Tyne and Wear's Tyneside flats and Victorian terraces in Jesmond and Heaton are popular for internal screens that brighten long hallways.
Lead times are confirmed in writing when you sign off the drawings, so you can plan the rest of your project around them. Our team handles survey, drawings, fabrication and fitting, so you deal with one contact from start to finish.
We cover Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Gateshead and Whitley Bay, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.

A steel room divider is a floor-to-ceiling glazed steel partition used to zone an open-plan space, such as separating a sleeping area in a loft or a study corner in a living room. Read the full guide to steel room dividers.

Steel room dividers in Tyne and Wear: questions
Can a room divider go under a sloping ceiling?
Yes. We measure the pitch on survey and draw the top of the frame to follow it, so the divider fits a loft or attic room without gaps.
Can the divider be moved later?
Dividers are fixed to the floor and ceiling, so they are permanent fixtures. They can be taken down by a fitter, but they are not designed as movable partitions.
Do you cover Newcastle upon Tyne and Sunderland?
Yes. We survey and fit steel room dividers in Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Gateshead and across Tyne and Wear. Book a free survey and we will confirm a date.
