Steel room dividers in Cambridgeshire
Steel room dividers in Cambridgeshire are made to measure from a free survey and fitted by our installation team, with surveys across Cambridge, Peterborough, Ely and the surrounding area.
Fitting steel room dividers in Cambridgeshire
In Cambridgeshire we work on college-town terraces and fenland farmhouses alike, and steel screens suit both conversions and new extensions.
Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the steel room divider fits the opening you have, not a stock size. Safety glass is standard in every internal pane, and we check whether fire-rated glazing is needed before anything is ordered.
We cover Cambridge, Peterborough, Ely and Huntingdon, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Scribed to sloping ceilings, beams and out-of-level floors
- Transoms and posts set out to suit the room rather than a stock grid
- Any RAL powder-coat colour, textured black as standard
- Toughened or laminated safety glass, clear or reeded
A steel room divider is a floor-to-ceiling glazed steel partition used to zone an open-plan space, such as separating a sleeping area in a loft or a study corner in a living room. Read the full guide to steel room dividers.
Send us a few details and photos of the opening, and we will arrange a free survey.
Steel room dividers in Cambridgeshire: questions
Do I need a door in the divider?
Not always. Many clients leave an open walkway at one end. If you want privacy or warmth in one zone, a hinged or sliding door can be built into the run.
How much does a steel room divider cost?
Most full-height steel room dividers fall between £4,500 and £11,000 fitted, including VAT. Wider dividers, extra doors and specialist glass add to the price.
Are prices higher in Cambridgeshire?
Our guide prices are the same nationally. The fixed price for your job depends on its size and specification, plus any site factors such as access or parking, which we note at survey.
