Steel room dividers in Bedfordshire
Steel room dividers in Bedfordshire are made to measure from a free survey and fitted by our installation team, with surveys across Bedford, Luton, Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding area.
Fitting steel room dividers in Bedfordshire
Bedfordshire projects are often family extensions on Victorian and post-war houses, where a glazed screen keeps the original rooms bright.
Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the steel room divider fits the opening you have, not a stock size. Our team handles survey, drawings, fabrication and fitting, so you deal with one contact from start to finish.
We cover Bedford, Luton, Leighton Buzzard and Biggleswade, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Fixings into floor and ceiling structure where there is no wall
- Scribed to sloping ceilings, beams and out-of-level floors
- Toughened or laminated safety glass, clear or reeded
- Full-height glazed steel partitions up to around 3m in a single tier
A steel room divider is a floor-to-ceiling glazed steel partition used to zone an open-plan space, such as separating a sleeping area in a loft or a study corner in a living room. Read the full guide to steel room dividers.

Steel room dividers in Bedfordshire: questions
How much does a steel room divider cost?
Most full-height steel room dividers fall between £4,500 and £11,000 fitted, including VAT. Wider dividers, extra doors and specialist glass add to the price.
Do I need a door in the divider?
Not always. Many clients leave an open walkway at one end. If you want privacy or warmth in one zone, a hinged or sliding door can be built into the run.
