Fitting kitchen steel screens in Nottinghamshire
Nottinghamshire includes the Lace Market's converted warehouses and Victorian suburbs, both natural fits for slim steel glazing.
Safety glass is standard in every internal pane, and we check whether fire-rated glazing is needed before anything is ordered. You get one fixed written price after survey, with the material, glass and finish named on the quote.
We cover Nottingham, Newark, Southwell and Mansfield, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Durable powder coat suited to kitchen heat and cleaning
- Coordinated with kitchen fitter drawings and worktop heights

A kitchen steel screen is a glazed steel partition that separates a kitchen from a dining area or snug, either sitting on a low dwarf wall or running floor to ceiling. Read the full guide to kitchen steel screens.
Send us a few details and photos of the opening, and we will arrange a free survey.
Kitchen steel screens in Nottinghamshire: questions
When should the screen be measured?
After the dwarf wall is built and plastered, and ideally after the worktops are templated, so the screen is made to the finished sizes.
Is glass safe next to a hob?
We specify safety glass throughout and advise keeping a sensible clearance from the hob. Where a pane is close to cooking, laminated glass is the safer choice.
Do you cover Nottingham and Newark?
