Steel room dividers in Nottinghamshire
From Newark to Mansfield, we supply and fit steel room dividers across Nottinghamshire, each one fabricated to the measurements taken at your survey.
Fitting steel room dividers in Nottinghamshire
Nottinghamshire includes the Lace Market's converted warehouses and Victorian suburbs, both natural fits for slim steel glazing.
Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the steel room divider fits the opening you have, not a stock size. You get one fixed written price after survey, with the material, glass and finish named on the quote.
We cover Nottingham, Newark, Southwell and Mansfield, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Fixings into floor and ceiling structure where there is no wall
- Scribed to sloping ceilings, beams and out-of-level floors
- Optional hinged, sliding or pivot door within the divider
- Transoms and posts set out to suit the room rather than a stock grid
A steel room divider is a floor-to-ceiling glazed steel partition used to zone an open-plan space, such as separating a sleeping area in a loft or a study corner in a living room. Read the full guide to steel room dividers.

Steel room dividers in Nottinghamshire: questions
Does a glass divider help with noise?
It reduces noise compared with an open room, and laminated acoustic glass with sealed joints improves it further. It will not match a solid insulated wall, and we explain the difference before you choose.
Will a divider make my room feel smaller?
Because the glass panes are large and the bars are slim, a divider keeps the sense of space. Most people find it makes an open-plan room easier to use rather than smaller.
Are prices higher in Nottinghamshire?
Our guide prices are the same nationally. The fixed price for your job depends on its size and specification, plus any site factors such as access or parking, which we note at survey.
