Internal steel French doors in South Yorkshire
We design and install internal steel French doors throughout South Yorkshire, from Sheffield and Doncaster to Rotherham and Barnsley, with fixed written quotes after a free survey.
Fitting internal steel French doors in South Yorkshire
South Yorkshire projects include Sheffield's Victorian stone houses and steel-city warehouse conversions, which suit an industrial steel aesthetic.
Lead times are confirmed in writing when you sign off the drawings, so you can plan the rest of your project around them. Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the internal steel French door fits the opening you have, not a stock size.
We cover Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Lever handles in black, brass, bronze or stainless
- Toughened safety glass, reeded or acoustic options
- Glazed top light option for tall or arched openings
- Butt or concealed hinges, flush bolt on secondary leaf
Internal steel French doors are a pair of glazed steel doors that meet in the middle, hung in an opening between two rooms. Read the full guide to internal steel French doors.

Internal steel French doors in South Yorkshire: questions
Can the doors be locked?
Yes. We can fit a sashlock with a key or a privacy turn, and a flush bolt on the secondary leaf keeps the pair secure.
Do internal steel doors need a threshold?
No. Inside the house we leave a small gap under the doors so the flooring runs straight through without a step.
