Steel bifold doors in Mid and West Wales
Steel bifold doors in Mid and West Wales are made to measure from a free survey and fitted by our installation team, with surveys across Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, Brecon and the surrounding area.
Fitting steel bifold doors in Mid and West Wales
Mid and West Wales has many stone cottages and coastal homes; coverage here is confirmed at enquiry so we can plan survey dates.
Lead times are confirmed in writing when you sign off the drawings, so you can plan the rest of your project around them. Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the steel bifold door fits the opening you have, not a stock size.
We cover Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, Brecon and Tenby, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 6–8 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Galvanised and polyester powder coated
- Level or low threshold with drainage
- Multipoint locking on the traffic door
- Glazing bars to match steel windows and screens
Steel bifold doors are a run of glazed steel door panels that fold and stack to one or both sides, opening most of a wall to the garden. Read the full guide to steel bifold doors.

Steel bifold doors in Mid and West Wales: questions
Are steel bifolds heavier than aluminium?
Yes, so the opening needs a suitable beam and the threshold must be level and solid. We check this with your builder or engineer before manufacture.
Can I have a level threshold with bifolds?
Yes, with a drainage channel outside. A low upstand threshold gives better weather resistance on exposed sites.
Do you cover Aberystwyth and Carmarthen?
Yes. We survey and fit steel bifold doors in Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, Brecon and across Mid and West Wales. Book a free survey and we will confirm a date.
