Steel room dividers in Mid and West Wales
Homeowners and builders in Mid and West Wales use us for steel room dividers that are drawn to their exact opening, from compact screens in Aberystwyth to full-width runs in Carmarthen.
Fitting steel room dividers in Mid and West Wales
Mid and West Wales has many stone cottages and coastal homes; coverage here is confirmed at enquiry so we can plan survey dates.
Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the steel room divider fits the opening you have, not a stock size. Lead times are confirmed in writing when you sign off the drawings, so you can plan the rest of your project around them.
We cover Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, Brecon and Tenby, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Optional hinged, sliding or pivot door within the divider
- Fixings into floor and ceiling structure where there is no wall
- Transoms and posts set out to suit the room rather than a stock grid
- Toughened or laminated safety glass, clear or reeded
A steel room divider is a floor-to-ceiling glazed steel partition used to zone an open-plan space, such as separating a sleeping area in a loft or a study corner in a living room. Read the full guide to steel room dividers.

Steel room dividers in Mid and West Wales: questions
Can a room divider go under a sloping ceiling?
Yes. We measure the pitch on survey and draw the top of the frame to follow it, so the divider fits a loft or attic room without gaps.
Do I need a door in the divider?
Not always. Many clients leave an open walkway at one end. If you want privacy or warmth in one zone, a hinged or sliding door can be built into the run.
Do you cover Aberystwyth and Carmarthen?
Yes. We survey and fit steel room dividers in Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, Brecon and across Mid and West Wales. Book a free survey and we will confirm a date.
