Fitting steel-look aluminium screens in Leicestershire
Leicestershire projects are often Victorian terraces and 1930s semis being extended to the rear, where a screen keeps the front rooms bright.
Lead times are confirmed in writing when you sign off the drawings, so you can plan the rest of your project around them. Safety glass is standard in every internal pane, and we check whether fire-rated glazing is needed before anything is ordered.
We cover Leicester, Loughborough, Market Harborough and Hinckley, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 3–4 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Toughened safety glass, clear or reeded
- Powder-coated black or RAL colours
- Fixed panes, hinged and sliding doors
- Aluminium profiles styled as slim steel glazing bars
A steel-look aluminium screen is a glazed internal partition made from aluminium profiles designed to imitate the slim black grid of a steel screen. Read the full guide to steel-look aluminium screens.

Steel-look aluminium screens in Leicestershire: questions
How much cheaper is aluminium than steel?
A steel-look aluminium screen often costs roughly 40 to 50 percent less than the same screen in genuine steel. We can quote both for your opening.
Is steel-look aluminium suitable for a bathroom?
Yes. Aluminium does not rust, which is why some clients choose it for shower screens and wet rooms.
Are prices higher in Leicestershire?
Our guide prices are the same nationally. The fixed price for your job depends on its size and specification, plus any site factors such as access or parking, which we note at survey.
