Internal steel French doors in Lancashire
We design and install internal steel French doors throughout Lancashire, from Preston and Lancaster to Blackpool and Clitheroe, with fixed written quotes after a free survey.
Fitting internal steel French doors in Lancashire
Lancashire stone terraces tend to have narrow plans, so a glazed steel screen is a practical way to share light between front and back rooms.
You get one fixed written price after survey, with the material, glass and finish named on the quote. Our team handles survey, drawings, fabrication and fitting, so you deal with one contact from start to finish.
We cover Preston, Lancaster, Blackpool and Clitheroe, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- No threshold: flooring runs through the opening
- Lever handles in black, brass, bronze or stainless

Internal steel French doors in Lancashire: questions
Do internal steel doors need a threshold?
No. Inside the house we leave a small gap under the doors so the flooring runs straight through without a step.
Can the doors be locked?
Yes. We can fit a sashlock with a key or a privacy turn, and a flush bolt on the secondary leaf keeps the pair secure.
Are prices higher in Lancashire?
Our guide prices are the same nationally. The fixed price for your job depends on its size and specification, plus any site factors such as access or parking, which we note at survey.
