Steel bifold doors in Staffordshire
Steel bifold doors in Staffordshire are made to measure from a free survey and fitted by our installation team, with surveys across Stafford, Lichfield, Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding area.
Fitting steel bifold doors in Staffordshire
Staffordshire mixes Georgian Lichfield with Victorian and post-war housing, and steel screens are used to brighten deep terraced plans.
Because each frame is drawn from your measurements, the steel bifold door fits the opening you have, not a stock size. We coordinate with your builder, kitchen fitter or decorator so the opening is ready and nothing is measured twice.
We cover Stafford, Lichfield, Stoke-on-Trent and Tamworth, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 6–8 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Traffic door for everyday use
- Galvanised and polyester powder coated
- Thermally improved steel with double glazing
- Glazing bars to match steel windows and screens
Steel bifold doors are a run of glazed steel door panels that fold and stack to one or both sides, opening most of a wall to the garden. Read the full guide to steel bifold doors.

Steel bifold doors in Staffordshire: questions
Are steel bifolds heavier than aluminium?
Yes, so the opening needs a suitable beam and the threshold must be level and solid. We check this with your builder or engineer before manufacture.
Do steel bifolds need maintenance?
Keep the track and drainage clean, and lubricate hinges and rollers once a year.
