Internal steel screens in Kent
Every internal steel screen we fit in Kent starts with a free survey at the property, whether that is in Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone or a village nearby.
Fitting internal steel screens in Kent
In Kent we see oast and barn conversions with tall openings alongside Victorian villas and coastal homes, and steel suits both the rustic and the period styles.
Lead times are confirmed in writing when you sign off the drawings, so you can plan the rest of your project around them. We coordinate with your builder, kitchen fitter or decorator so the opening is ready and nothing is measured twice.
We cover Maidstone, Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 4–6 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- Lever handles, pull handles and locks in black, brass or stainless
- Polyester powder coat in textured jet black (RAL 9005) or any RAL colour
- Fixed panes, single door, double doors, sliding or pivot leaf
- Pane layouts drawn to suit ceiling height and room proportions
An internal steel screen is a glazed partition made from slim steel sections, usually with a grid of glass panes and an optional door. Read the full guide to internal steel screens.
Call, chat or send the form and we will arrange a convenient survey date.
Internal steel screens in Kent: questions
What glass do you use?
Toughened safety glass is standard. Laminated glass is available for extra acoustic performance or where a pane must hold together if broken, and reeded or frosted panes add privacy.
How much does an internal steel screen cost?
A typical 2.4m-wide screen with a single door is usually between £3,800 and £7,500 fitted, including VAT. Size, the number of doors, glass type and access are what move the price; we confirm a fixed figure after a free survey.
Are prices higher in Kent?
Our guide prices are the same nationally. The fixed price for your job depends on its size and specification, plus any site factors such as access or parking, which we note at survey.
