Fitting fire-rated steel screens in Hampshire
Hampshire projects range from period houses in Winchester to new-build family homes, and both suit slim steel screens and external steel doors.
Our team handles survey, drawings, fabrication and fitting, so you deal with one contact from start to finish. We coordinate with your builder, kitchen fitter or decorator so the opening is ready and nothing is measured twice.
We cover Winchester, Southampton, Basingstoke and Portsmouth, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 6–10 weeks depending on system, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.

A fire-rated steel screen is a glazed steel partition designed to resist the spread of fire and, depending on its rating, heat for a set period such as 30 or 60 minutes. Read the full guide to fire-rated steel screens.

Fire-rated steel screens in Hampshire: questions
When do I need a fire-rated glazed screen?
When the screen forms part of a protected escape route or a fire-separating wall, such as the stair enclosure in many three-storey houses or a commercial corridor. Your building control body or fire engineer confirms the rating needed.
Do you provide certification?
We supply fire-rated systems tested by their manufacturers and pass on the evidence of performance, including certificate references, with your quote.
Are prices higher in Hampshire?
Our guide prices are the same nationally. The fixed price for your job depends on its size and specification, plus any site factors such as access or parking, which we note at survey.
