External steel doors in Norfolk
Looking for external steel doors in Norfolk? We survey, draw, fabricate and fit them for homes in Norwich, King's Lynn and across the rest of Norfolk.
Fitting external steel doors in Norfolk
Norfolk's flint cottages, barn conversions and Norwich terraces often have low or irregular openings, so every screen is drawn from careful survey measurements.
You get one fixed written price after survey, with the material, glass and finish named on the quote. Safety glass is standard in every internal pane, and we check whether fire-rated glazing is needed before anything is ordered.
We cover Norwich, King's Lynn, Great Yarmouth and Holt, plus the villages and towns between them. Lead time is 5–7 weeks from signed-off drawings, and we confirm dates in writing when you sign off the drawings.
What we can include
- French doors, single doors, side lights and top lights
- Multipoint locking and secure hinges
- Weathered threshold, level or stepped
- Thermally improved steel with double-glazed units
External steel doors are glazed steel doors built for outside walls, with thermally improved frames, double glazing, weather seals and secure locking. Read the full guide to external steel doors.

External steel doors in Norfolk: questions
Can I have a level threshold?
Yes. A level threshold needs drainage and careful detailing with your builder, and we plan it before the floor and patio levels are set.
Are external steel doors secure?
Yes. We fit multipoint locking and secure hinges, and steel frames are inherently strong. Ask us about doors tested to recognised security standards if that matters for your insurance.
Are prices higher in Norfolk?
Our guide prices are the same nationally. The fixed price for your job depends on its size and specification, plus any site factors such as access or parking, which we note at survey.
